  Although the staff are friendly and the pub has a good feel, often the evening carveries have been poor.
  It tasted like it had been left too long, maybe from the night before. Usually Sundays are good quality but the food needs to be fresher. You can't expect repeat business otherwise.

  Not a bad place, plenty of space and some nice touches with the furniture - open fire, for example. Carvery is reliably good. Lovely outdoor space for children, with outdoor activity toys - but terrible attitude to children themselves! Seems they'd rather children be seen and not heard, a bit Victorian if you ask me. Owner doesn't seem too keen on small humans :-)

  Lovely food and great atmosphere, made to feel very welcome, two lovely resident dogs, music , and not like a creche, how a pub should be, will definitely be back!
